General Information: Acrylic Surfaces, such as Corian are man-made materials, subject to slight variations in shading. Colors may vary slightly from sample to finished product.
Warranty: Most acrylic tops come with a 10-year manufacturer's warranty. At the conclusion of the installation, the installation crew will provide you with the manufacturer's warranty card. Additionally, all acrylic countertops come with a (1) year installation labor warranty.
Seaming: Placement of factory or field seams is at the discretion of Precision Countertops. Typically, the seam will not be visible, but it is not guaranteed to be invisible.
Finish: Your countertop will come with a standard matte finish. Matte finish is most suitable for use in a high traffic environment, such as a kitchen. Minor scratches and abrasions are easily repaired with this type of finish. Countertops with a highly polished finish should not be installed in a kitchen environment. Scratches and abrasions will be more evident with a highly polished top and the repair is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We can not guarantee the customer's satisfaction with highly polished finish countertops.
Dark colors are not recommended for high use kitchen countertops. They are recommended as accent colors only. Further, scratches and abrasions will be more evident with dark colored countertops, and the repair is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
Staining: Acrylic countertops are non-porous and stain resistant.
Cleaning: Use warm soapy water or mild household cleaning agents to clean your countertop. Avoid strong chemicals and solvents. Do not use nail polish remover, permanent markers or inks, oil soaps, furniture cleaners or paint strippers on the countertop. Also, avoid using high alkaline/PH cleaners such as oven cleaners on the countertop.
Scratches: Minor scratches and abrasions are easily repaired with a mild scouring cleaner such as Bon Ami or with the use of a Scotch Brite Pad. Use of cutting board/trivet is recommended.
Heat: Acrylic surfaces are subject to heat shock if they are exposed to extreme changes in temperature. It is recommended that you protect your countertop from extreme heat by using trivets or hot pads. It is also recommended that you warm Acrylic (Integral Bowl) Sinks before subjecting them to extremely hot (boiling) water.
Care Kit: Your installation crew will provide you with a care and maintenance guide for Acrylic countertops.
Color Match Sample: As a courtesy, the installation crew will provide you with a color match sample. Please retain the color match sample in case repairs are required in the future.
Cut-outs: The material from sink and cook top cut-outs are not part of the finished product and will not be made available to the customer.
